Jo's Story
Johanna Crawford uses her 12 years of extraordinary, hands-on experience in supporting women to share a pragmatic and compassionate perspective on the steps needed to effectively go from surviving to thriving.
Many books deal with the emotional aspects of abuse, but few present a roadmap for women to regain their financial self-sufficiency and create new lives for themselves and their families.
Jo is an AARP Purpose Prize Fellow. In July 2012 she was honored as CNN Hero. Currently, Jo is retired and lives in Maine near her two daughters and three grandchildren.
